Gastroscopy Stomach Scope

Note:
Please call EVC with any questions or concerns. As with any diagnostic procedure,
complications can develop and early intervention can help return your patient to health
more rapidly.

* Train normally. * Keep patient in a stall overnight before procedure. * Pull all feed (grain and forage ration) 18-24 hours before procedure and
muzzle regardless of bedding that is being used in stall. Patient will still be able to
drink water through the muzzle. * Pull water 6-8 hours before procedure and remain muzzled. * Continue with any medications that you may be using.
Note:
EVC can provide you with a muzzle to use overnight before the procedure.

Patient may be immediately fed and watered after recovering from the heavy sedation
used during the procedure. Return to normal training.
